Quite disappointing was the food...as airline food goes this was pretty ordinary. Was also very surprised at the average age of the cabin crew....nearly as old as us.....
This crossing back into yesterday does your head in, but probably not as much as going back, and missing tomorrow and getting into the next day......
Los Angels originally called El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles del Río de Porciúncula in 1781, and possibly before there was an airport here, was not all that frightening to travel through. Patience, politeness, and listening to the the Customs and Border Protection guy about all the things in Australia that will kill you and how scarey Australia is...Ironic I feel from a bloke who admitted the only time he's unarmed is when he's in the bath because 'this is America you know".
We were in the domestic departure within one and a half hours.
Coffee....mmmm. How so very first world!!!!! We shall reserve our assessment, based on two really crappy coffees at the airport..lest we be accused of being snobs.....
Nathalie is on face book....we think we have sorted out a phone card...not Telstra, about one quarter the price and unlimited data, however can not ring mobiles, but apparently we can vibrate, scape and face tune whatever they are........so far so good.
'That won't be a great photo' she says...and she is quite correct too...but it shows the defining features that uniquely identify LAX from every other airport we've been to ( well maybe with the exception of Colombo, Manado, and Brunei)... Exactly nothing.

Actually you are coffee snobs. I have put two take always in a mailing tube for you. Enjoy.
